Bulletin No. 5 of'the'Agricultural Conference Board shows 5 bills supported by Rappahannock Fruit Growers were passed by the \ 1958 General Assembly. They /were H. B. 400, H. B. 401; both pertaining to apple tax for sale promotion, H. B. 553 and H. B. 554 (Talent Bank) and H. B. 481 Deer Oamafeing Fruit Trees or Crops). It is my understanding that most, if not all, of these bills had the backing of the Rappahannock' Farm Bureau. Congratulations, men!!

Kobe Iespedeza is the variety for our section. Lorean Iespedeza is for altitudes of 1000 ft, or more. Could be part of the trouble is result of using an unadapted variety. Varietal lists of all farm crops are available upon request from your county agent’s office. Call or. stop by if you’d like'a copy.
