Albert J. Slaughter
Albert Judson Slaughter, aged 84, a former mayor and retired cabinet maker of Washington, Vif■ginia, died Sunday, .September 28, 1958 in the Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
He was a native of Rappahannock County, a. Son of the late F. M. Slaughter of Rappphannttck County and Sue Motley "Slaughter of Caroline County.
His wife was the late of Mrs.' Virginia Daniel Slaughter. y
Mr. Saughter was a member of the Baptist Church. '■
Survivors, are a daughter. Mo. AubreyTH. Keyscr, of “The Oaks” Washington, Va., a son, Albert J* Slaughter, Front Royal and a brother, Gibbon M. Slaughter* of Charleston, West Virginia. ‘ Graveside funeral service were, neld on Tuesday, September 30 at 2:30 p. m. at the F-»«thsm family cemetery, Washington, Va. The Rev. John Divers and Rev. Paul tagg were officiated.
Pallbearers will be: W. R. 'Strgdley, J. W. Price, Jr. J. W. Fletcher, Guy Burke, C. J. Miller and Dr. J. P. Snead. *#• . In lieu of flowers, contributions •nay be made to the Cancer Fund.
