Eddie enlisted in the army under the High School Graduate Program and was given a written guarantee that he would attend the Quartermaster Equipment, Repair School; before he enlisted. While at the school at Fort L*e, he received insructions in such sub- ’ jects as, carpentry,, pipe fitting, oxyacetylene welding, electricity, internal combustion engines and the maintenance of mobile laundry and bakery equipment. .
