Thj Student Cooperative Association. sponsored by Mrs. Elizabeth Weber, presented the Thanksgiving program on Wednesday, November 26.
After devotional* by Elizabeth Latham and Charlie Smith, the Primary grades sang “Thanking Gcd*', Mis* Zinn fold an interesting Thanksgiving story and Lissa Weber and Jimmie Cross sang a duet, accompanied by Betty Palmer Wines. Also an educational movie relative to travel in the wtit was. shown t» the students.

Charles B. Palmer, agriculture* instructor at R.C.H.S'. for the second year, is a native of LawrenceviHe, Va. Hs graduated from high school his home town, and alters, attending Georgia Tech and the University of Richmond, he graduated froip V.P.l. with a B.S. in Agricultural Education. Mr. Palmer served in the Pacific Theatre for three yean during World War II. From 1945 until 1954, he was engaged in dairy farming.
At R.C.H.S. there are 59 students who take agriculure in five sections. Mr. Palmer not only *eachcs : them at ^school, but aiso visits their homes to supervise farm projects. He also sponsors the Rappahannock Chapter of the Future Farmers of America. ^
Farewell Party
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bill Coates and daughter Casrie entertained at a farewell party on Monday for Mias Hazel Frizzell who is leaving this week for her new home in Annandale. Guests were Susa^t Quasebarth, Cil Davis, Jo-Anp^ Adams,, Bill Snead, Mary Moore and Billy Kilby.. .
