When the humble godly mother and father read lesions from the good old bjook they are giving their children the best lessonS'-that can be- found. Children are thu<? given the best home training that can be given. Thjey who have such home training ire wonderfully blessed. To have parents who fear God and pray for thejir family is a great blessing and fond memory. The ^ way the Bible teaches us is right and in keeping them we are promised divine favors of God. They -will have] true reason to “honor thy father and thy mother. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man”.
We are living in a day when there is too much disregard for law and authority. In the home, school, state and nation there is much disloyalty. The great crime wave of jtbe youth lay haavily ac the door jof the home. Only when -the home; is what it should be, can we expect regard to authorities in other institutions. Many think that a courte^ol religious training should be put in the public schools to help correct this evil, but bur home is where this training must start. Children who do not obey their patents and respect the authority <if the home will not respect thej laws of the school, state or nation.
The greatest hope of our society of today is found in the homes
where parents and children sustain the order which God has given. Let Mother’s Day and Father’s Day be jkept in the-honour which God hat placed parenthood.
