Well, the noble bir£ from our Thanksgiving table is finished. You know' i’ve always been intrigued with the recipes I’ve «ad entitled “Things To Da W itn Left-over Turkey”. Yy’ho has any left over with boys in the house after about two tneais a-«d a t.ttle “snacking” on the side? 1 guess these recipes were dreamed up for folks who' have turkey more often . than we do at our’ house. And. white we are on the subject, don’t forget $4 JV&K and .Haia *up'•per ctxfitng up oh' Satu rday night, December 6, in FUnt Hill at the fire house. The ladies from the two churches are working hard to have some good food for yoy and wUl be disappointed if you tmrt there to enjoy it.
It just doesn’t seem possible that it is now December and we are only a few weeks away from Christmas., Jc rom now on, we’ll all be going around in circles with a glazed look in our eyes. But theres nothing much to it—just a long list ot gifts to buy and wrap; cards to address and mail; cakes and cookies to bake; lend a hand with the church Christmas prograifi; clean the house;•'trim the tree; besides the few other things we whip out every single day. THERE ISN’T ENOUGH TIME!!! But believe it or not, it will all be done before daybreak on Christmas morning. As tor the small fry, bless ’em, it w'ill be a long wait for them. Did you see .i_ .
