Virginia Apple Growers a/e taking advantage of the machinery provided in the CapperVolsteaid Act that enables agricultural producers to bargain collectively in the sale of their apple* ; to processors. Similar apple bargaining organizations are being established in Maryland, Pennsylvania, iWest Virginia, Michigan and California. New York apple growers are first developing <a Statv* Marketing order, then plan to worjk bn a bargaining association for establishing reasonable price for processing apples.
