Mrs. Jay Brown is now at the Maplewood Nursing Home in Winchester and her brother, Mrj West is staying with his daughter, Mrs. G. M. Stant in Bethesda, Md. The Brown home has been rented to Mr. and Mrs. C. D. L. McCoy. Mr McCoy will teach[ languages at RCHS and Mrs. Me Coy will teach the fifth grade at Washington Elementary School.
The McCoys are from Scott County and have a daughter who teaches in Warren County.
Mrs. Heleai Hall has rented Rose Cottage from Mrs. C. G. Reid. She is the new first grade teacher at Sperryville Elementary School. Mrs. Hall has two teen age youngsters.
Mrs. C. G. Reid had as her guests last week, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Reid, Jr of New York City. She is expecting Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Reid for a two weeks visit. Mr. Reid has just completed ten weeks of summer school at Purdue University and will receive his Masters degree ip the spring.
