Horse Show
turns 50
The Washington International Horse Show celebrates 50 years in D.C. Oct. 21-26 this year at the Verizon Center downtown. The show, (bonded in 1958, offers prize money worth more than $415,000.
More than 600 horses are expected to compete in show jumping, hunters, equitation and dressage during the sixday event. Unique shopping in 65 boutiques, a Pony f^rvihon with free pony rides, and exhibitions including; driving, Saddlebred horse demonstrations, agility dogs and more round out the event.
