attention to a particular remark attributed to now President-elect Barack Obama, Mr. Obama was reported to have explained that small-town resi- ■ dents in economically depressed areas tended to 'ding to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them....'
So I chose to vote while carrying my Bible and openly carrying a handgun properly secured in a 'drop-leg' holster. I explained this to Terry Dixon and to the gentleman who took the photograph of me used in the Nov. 6 Rappahannock News. However, the paper did not include my explanation.
