‘He did little groves of Christmas trees .. with a Victorian theme." said O'Connell and it was “so unique, old-fashioned and natural" that he decided to do something similar at the Inn. Once he started doing it. he said. ‘IVsople loved the unique grove look" and so he has done it ever since.
FUr the last It years. Hospice of the Hapidan has sponsored a “Tree of tights" during the Christmas season on which pete pie dedicate lights in memory of loved ones or in honor of people who have made a difference. This vear Hospice expanded the annual tradition hi include a Tree id' Lights in Rappahannock County in addition to those it has historically sponsored in Culpeper and Fauquier counties.
The tree is displayed at the Rappahannock National Bank. Washington, and will remain lit thnnighout the holiday season. It was lit lor the first tinre in a ceremony on Dec. 2 which was attended hv over TO people, including ftiends and family members of patients.
