Rabid Fox? Killed

The Rappahannock County
Health Department has reported another case of rabies.
The gray fox, showing the presence of negri bodies, was killed! on the farm of Mrs. D. B. Smith, about three miles from Washington. It had been killing chickens on the property.
This brings to seven the number of cases reported in the county.

The regular monthly meeti of the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department was held in the Fjte Hall on Wednesday evening April 4th with a large attendance present.
In addition to the usual routine business it was definitely decided to hold the annual Fall Festival of the department on the 23, 24, 25th of AJugust of this year. A contract was signed for the servicesF of three rides to furnish entertainspent for the crowds that are ex1 pected. There will be a Merry-goround, an adult Giant Swing and a Kiddie Giant Swing. *
Further details of the festival will be forthcoming at an early ;date but the Department plans to do all possible to make the cele-‘ bration this year bigger and better than ever:
