Jail Empty, First

For five hours on Sunday evening the Rappahannock County -jail was empty. It was the first time since December 14, 1955— wherf it was empty for two hours, —that no supper trays had to be fixed for prisoners, .
The prisoner who broke the cook’s reprieve was brought in Sunday night and released on bond. Monday morning.

The committee on arrangement* for the Rappahannock County Flower Show met Wednesday, § April 11th at Millbank, the home of Mrs. Charles Estes and chose, “Spring Comes In” as the theme for the show which will be held!. May 10th in the Educational rooms of the' Washington Baptist. Church..
Wakefield, Hampton, Piedmont , Stonewall and Hawthorne di»v tricts were represented at the meet-, ing and pdogress was made on the . schedule whi^h committee members voted to keep as simple as poosible so that many can participate. The chairman hopes to have the ., schedule for distribution as early t as possible.
Flower growers are urged to make plans for exhibiting. -
The Soil Conservation Service which had such an interesting exhibit last year, plans an even more interesting one this year.
