UN REPRESENTATIVE 4 GUEST SPEAKER AT FRONT ROYAL
Ladies of the Women’s Society of Christian Service are invited to attend the study course on “What We Can Do For World Peace”, given in Front Royal Methodist church social'* hall, starting at 4 p.m. Sunday evening. Each one is asked to bring a sand* wich and the host church will serve cake and coffee. *
Mrs. W. C. Smith, secretary' of Christian Social relations and local church activities in the Virginia conference will be the teacher for this study. Mrs. Smith is a representative of the United Nations, and served as chairman of the steering committee of the Washington Intercultural Workshop on World Understanding, held last February in Washington, D.C. She is an interesting and well informed speaker on topics concerning peace, in the home, church, community and the world.
Mrs. Smith will continue the course Monday evening in the social hall of the church. Anyone ntercsted in World Peace and what we can do to obtain it is invited to share in this opportunity.
