been selected by the judges, Mr. Derting and Mr. M. C. Gore, as blue award winners in the county 4-H Achievement record book contest for members under 14 years of age.

Second place winner was Joan Hickerson of Flint Hill. Carolyn Brown of the Sperryville 4-H Club and Nancy Wood of Washington III 4-H Club each won a white award.

However each of these girls are to be commended for assembling such nice record books.

Five senior girls entered their records in the state achievement contests: Jean Lillard, Flint Hill Night Club, entered Home Improvement Contest; Paula Miller. Flint Hill Night Club entered leadership; Shirley Smott, Washingon entered clothipg; Peachy Lyne, Sperryville Sr. entered food preparation and Linda Lou Dodson entered the General Home Economics contests State winners will be announced at the State Short Course in June.
