‘ East Hamlet” home of the Eastham family for over 100 years, is to be seen from a different angle during October. The Rappahannock Garden Club has announced that they will be there tp exhibit “Medicinal herbs, arrangements of dried flowers and plant "material.” These will be arranged in different parts of the old house where “thy charm 8f the past has been preserved * by it’s present owner. Mrs. Edwin Eastham Sr.”

But. it is safe to say that old residents of the County visiting East Hamlet will believe, that, lurking in the shadows about the place is the ghsot of “Old Baldie” the wily fox, that eluded the intrepid Eastham fox hunters on so many occasions. He WILL be there. He is there.

For many years “Baldy afforded the “old time fox huntres” of the county wonderful races. To jump Baldv meant hard riding, all day. to Round Mountain. Mulkie, H ickerson. Jenkin’s Mountain. The Peak and often to ‘ Big Woods.”
