Phillip Epperson retired colored farmer of Slate Mills died at his home TuesdA> followin'; along period of declining health.
Deceased 71 years of^age was the son of the late Phillip Epperson and Mrs. Hannah Washing, ton Epperson of Rappahannock County, Virginia.
He is survived by two daughters Mrs. One Henderson of Castlefon. Virginia and Mrs. Mary Wallace, Rfxevville, three sons. Elovd Epperson, Slate Mills; Robert Epperson. Slate Mills. Virginia and Clinton Epperson of Culpeper also 12 grandchildren.
Euneral services wcrr held Sun. day." September 20th from the Nazareth Baptist Church at Boston, with interment in the flfurch cemetery. Reverend R. I. Ranks conducted the last rites.
