The new rules for farm hands are now* in effect. According to Robert Parsons. Assistant Manager of the Alexandria social security office, these rules pertaining to social security coverage for farm ■ hands began with 1957.

In the years 1955 and 1956 am farm worker who was paid at . least S100 in cash wages in a year by one employer was coverd by tha Act. and his farm employer was required to report his cash wages for social security. Any farm operator in Rappahannock County who may have overlooked this should get in touch with the Internal Revenue office and file the necessary reports.
