It is true that we in Rappahannock can’t have a new high school over night. But while we ar<f looking at architect drawings arid discussing the possibilities of including this, that and the otherj room we could stand to take a good look around at what we have to; make do. until more can be had. j

A few much needed repairs could be made on our old building. There is no excuse for; bare nails and broken moldings ibeing left protruding to tear clothjes or even flesh when a few imputes, a hammer and nails would refnedy this.

Then too. each individual student, instead of marring the desks and furnishings, would find it to his or her advantage to help preserve it. Consider it a privilege to have it furnished for your use.

With the approaching basketball season let’s remember that, win or lose good sportsmanship should be foremost ip our minds. At some games last year many of the adults, parents of our students, did not display very good sportsmanship. How can the childre 1 be expected to do so?

After attending a football game in a neighboring town last week. I was indulging in a sandwich at a restaurant when another patron went out to get in his car jand found if had been stolen.
