The Amissville Ladies Auxiliary supper was well attended and thanks are expressed by the president for the donations of food, the willing workers and the pStronage of all whp were there.
Mr. Stein Buys Farm
Near Amissville
Sidney A. Stein of Washington, D. C. has recently purchased the 98 acre farm near Amissville. known as the “Ellmorc Farm” from Mrs. Elaine Hunsaker.
Mr. Stein plans to remodel the 150 year old home and move then sometime next year and will then commute daily to D. C., where he is employed by the government in the Department of Defense. The sale was made by Ray T. Cannon, realtor of Castleton, Va.
