You know the case where the court held the will of Mr. Girarde made over 100 years ago, was unconstitutional because he left funds for free schooling of white orphan boys born in Philadelphia- Ah. m> friend thought, that was terrible. It would effect the whole field of private education and endowment, disasterously. Why even the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, -which isn’t at all like your Supreme Court of Virginia, held that was constitutional. It just doesn’t seem possible the Federal Suprefne Court could get as far off base as they did here, he said.
