Johnson N FA Chapter of the George Washington Carver Regional High School was host to the Northern Virginia Federation of New Farmers of America m its first meeting on October _’3. .The following chapters were present: Wilton V al|ev - Chapter ot Berryville, M. A. F'ields Chapter of Iatuisa, W. C. Taylor Chapter of Warrenton. and tlve O. R. Johnson of Culpeper. All. total there were some s8 members represented.
Pembroke Washington ot the O. R. Johnson Chapter made a splendid re|x>rt on the -National Convention of NbA that was held in Atlanta. Georgia, during, the week of October 1. James Beverly, of the M. A. Fields Chapter, reported on the State Convention. The vein’s activities. were outlined and TtlT'#officers installed. Pembroke W ashington, Melvvij Hubbard, and. John Carter werd elected to the positions of vice3 president, parliamentarian and historian respectiely from the O, B. Johnson Chapter.
