Mr. 1 William Frank Whartotf. retired farmer of Culpeper, died Monday, March 3, at the University of Virginia Hospital, after several days illness..
Mr.>Wharton, 73 years of age was 'the son of the late Burg VVharton and Nancy Cartterbuck -Wharton of Rappahannock Co.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth VVharton of Culpeper; two daughters, Mrs. Melvin Wharton - of Culpeper and Mrs. Thomas Wharton of Culpeper and one son, Otis William Wharton of Culpeper; three sisters, Mrs. MaBel Grimsley, of - Castleton, Miss Maude Wharton ‘of Washington and Mrs. Ira Fincham of Washington, Va.; one brother, Shelby Wharton of Marion, Va;; also five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held# on Wednesday, March 5 at 2 pan; from the Geest Funeral Home Chapel, with Interment in the Taii-view cemetery. Rev. Leslie Napier conducted the last rites.
Active pallbearers were Bud W. Wharton, Billy L. Fhcham, Joe Lee Fincham, Robert Fincham Ashbv Jenkins, Archie Jenkins, andvj. C. Creel.
