James Henry Hitt
James Henry Hitt,-of Amiss-’ ville, Va., died at a Staunton Hos£ pital, Monday, Marche3. after a lingering illness.,
Mr. Hitt, 87 years of age, was the son of the late Jamerson Hitt and Mrs. Mary Elisabeth Hitt of Rappahannock County.
He is survived by one niece, Mrs. Daisy Butler of Marshall, Va. three nephews, Walter Weaver, Bethel; Tom Weaver, Hume; and Joe Weaver of Marshall.
Funeral services wen| held on Thursday, March 6 at 2 p.ra. from the" Amissville Baptist Church, with interipent in the family cemetery near Amissville. Reverend John Hodge conducted the last rites.
