Mrs. Gladys H. JLe*"is of Front Royal was elected as Presidentelect of the Virginia Conference of Tuberculosis Workers at their annua! meeting in Roanoke^ Tuesday. March 18.
The VCTW meeting, was held in conjunction with the annual meetings of the Virginia Tuberculosis Association ,and the Trudeau Society on March 18th and 19th.
Mrs. Lewis became the Executive Director of the Front RovalWarren Tuberculous Association in September 1952. Since then she assumed the same position with the Page County TB Association in 1955 and id 1956. Rappahannock County0 TB Association merged* with that of the Front Royal-Warren organization. She has served as part-time State TB Staff worker and has been chairman or servedon various committees of the Tuberculosis WorkejBT'thtL last one being in charge, of Virejml Welcoming Delegation at th£.Saiithem TB Conference h*LL*<«t Birmingham, Alabama. The next meeting of the Southern TB Conference will be held in Virginia in 1958.
