Two years ago Mts. John R. Frizzell, Jr? resigned from the Town Council. Every possible woman was approached to fill her • place without success, so in ordet to ‘keep the all-woman ticket in : office that, had been in for six years, Mrs. Jessie Hff Cox, volunteered to serve as councilwoman. She appreciates the voters electing her to this position for two years and enjoyed serving in this capacity.
In view of the fact Town dfc? lion is coming up June 10 she is not a candidate for re-election and if elected on the “write-in” halkt she will not qualify.
