Eight Years < WASHINGTON, Va., May , 26 (Special) —Mrs. Dorpthy Davis the pretty Mayor who headed an all-woman ticket that took over this Rappahannock County town eight years ago, is bowing out-of office.
Mrs. 'Davis said she had not filed for the June 10 municipal election because'^she^expects to be living her only, during the sum* mer. ■ . _ Hbr husband, George H. Davis, Jr., a former Justice Department attorney, is now practicing law in New York where the Davises will be living most of the time.
None of the six women council members who were elected with Mrs. Davis had filed for re-election either, but it is still (possible that some or all of them may run as write-in candidates.
