Rappahannock was certainly in “full-force” in Front Royal on , Friday. We saw Mrs. Barksdale. Captain and Mrs. Lockett, Burford, who were enjoying ice cream cones from the Royal Dairy. We stopped long enough to have a cup of coffee with Kay Browning.

Russie MiHer had a terrible time last Thursday. Her supervisor was here. People kept calling her all morning for cofiiee breaks. . Jock tried to worry her—you know what a tease he is . She finally decided the wisest thing to do would be to go to Frans Kitchen for her coffee break—with her supervisor. ' Poor Russie—Thursday was definitely not her day. After such a “trying” morning, she then, in the afternoon, pulled a draw to the filing cabinet out on the floor— spilling *11 the contents. To finish it all off for her, a bee flew down her dress and stung' her. I wonder if she was just a bit hesitant about going to |work on Friday?
