A slighy J.iz/.le had made the highway^lippery and as Mr. Barron applied his brakes to permit an auto in front of him to make a left hand turn his truck turned Completely around in the road <and overturned down an eiftbankmlrot. When the truck turned over Mi*! Barron’s left hand and arm were pinned beneath the door cutting his hand and bruising his arm to his shoulder. By passers lifted the vehicle enough to free his arm.. The last meeting of the all woman town council met Tuesday evening at the fire hall, Mayor Dorothy C. Davis, presiding. It was voted and passed to screen the ; fire house windows and to . paint the building inside and out. At the close of the meeting refreshments were served by council Lady Jessie H. Cox. Mayor* Davis, couiftil women Jessie Cox, and Ruby Jenkins will not qualitfy for office for the coming term. ,
