Thomas Jackson Doffermyer, retired firmer of Culpeper County, Virginia died Thursday, August 7 th at the home of his daughter Mrs. Charles A. Smith at Amissville, following a lingering illness.
Deceased .97 years of age was the son of the late Mr. and.Mrs. George Doffermyer of Page County, Virginia.
He is survived by four daughters Mrs. Charles A. Smith of Amissville, Mrs. Bush Milk, Viewtown, Mrs. Annie Settle, Falls Church and Mrs. Catherine Lucas, Culpeper: two sons Harry Doffermyer of Dayton, Ohio and William B. Doffermyer of Falk Church, Virginia; one sister Mrs. Fannie Howard of Baltimore, Md. also 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral ^services were held Saturday August 9th at 2:00 o’clock from the Forest Grove • Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery. Reverend John Hodge conducted the-' last rites.
