Mrs. B. R. Bennett, , Home Ecr onomics instructor at' R.C.H.S., graduated from Dan River High * School in Pittsylvania County and received a B.S. in Home Economics from Marison College. In her Senior year at Madison she was president of her sorority and of yie Baptist -Student Union and was chosen a member of Who’s Wjbqfc id American Colleges and Univer. -sides in 1957.
At R.C.H.S. Mrs. Bennett is the homeroom teacher for grade 8-A with 36. pupils and teaches home economics to 76 students in fi,ve sections. She visits the homes of her students to supervise the • projects arid sponsors the Rappa* bannock Chapter of the Future Homemakers of America.
X^Wue Volkswagon takes Mrs. Bennett tp and from .Culpeper every day and took her and her htishand to the west coast last summer.
