Thursday, Peola Mills was a town of great excitement and sorrow as a dog belonging to Jim Finch am broke loose from a chain in the yard of the Fincham home and went to the fariW of Harry Deal where it bit two hogs and a dog and later bit a ddg belonging to Mr, and Mrs. Robert Jones. Six other dogs were also bitten and all had to be destroyed after the Fincham dog proved to be rabid. The Fincham's had chained the dog after noticing that he was not well.
