Thursday eve-ing, February 26 Mr. Charle: Green of Amissvil!. had parked h i ar ? 1957 Plymouth t of ‘H a t IU e y’s Store wnen a 1958 Ford convertible owned and operated b\ Kyle D. Haverstock of Culpeper traveling east on Route 211 went out of control just above the store going over on the shoulder of the road and struck the car belonging to Green in the left rear and side. Both cars were a total loss.
Mr. Green, who was leaving the store to enter the car, stopped on the porch to talk to a friend. He missed being in the car by seconds.
Mr. Haverstock was taken to the Fauquier Hospital with cuts on his hands and possible chest injuries. Bobby Dodson, a passenger in the Haverstock car, was also taken to the hospital with a bad cu’: on his mouth and possible chest injuries. The Culpeper Rescue Squad answered the calls.
