The Pantherettes, showing a balanced scoring attack, were led by Betty Settle with 22 points, Peggy Burke with 17 and Carolyn* Turner 14. With equal performances as guards? were Mirjorje Jenkins, Margel Dulaney, Shirley Brown and Shirley Cloud. After the games, captain Betty Settle received the silver trophy, honoring the championship team.
