LADIES AUXILIARY to the NORTHERN VIRGINIA FIREMEN’S ASSOCIATION RESOLUTIONS of RESPECT
WHEREAS: The Ladies' Auxiliary to the Northern Virginia Firemen’s Association has lost by death one of our earnest and active fel-. low Firemen Edward Tapp who was a member of Amissville Volunteer Fire Department and departed from u&vAtigust 22, 1961, and WHEREAS: The close relations long held by our deceased member with the members of our organization render it proper that we should place on record our appreciation of his service as a Fireman, and his merits as a man, and WHEREAS: In the death of our fellow Fireman we have lost a member who was always active and zealous in his work as a'Fireman, ever ready to risk his life in the discharge of his duties, and willing at all times to advance the principals and objectives of our organizations. /Be it therefore RESOLVED, "That this Auxiliary extend to the family and friends of our departed fellow Fireman our heartfelt sympathy, and commend them to loving care of our heavenly Father. Be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of these Resolutions be spread upon our records, a copy sent to the bereaved family, a copy sent to the local Auxiliary, and a copy published in the local paper. Beyond life’s final sunset lies a home so bright and fair. In the land of God’s tomorrow where our loved one waits us there It’s a place of wondrous beauty, where they know not grief nor fears, Where God Himself in tenderness, shall wipe away our tears. So rejoice today in knowing, that our loved one has found peace In the land of God’s tomorrow, where His blessings never cease.
