A director of the Faucyaier Notional Bank of Warrenton since 1934, he was chairman ot the board when he died, He served o* the Warrenton town council for 22 years.
A graduate of Washington and Lee and George Washington Universities, he graduated from MCV in 1912. He was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Newbill Miller of Washington, Va.; a brother, Dr. J. O. Hodgkins of Warrenton; and four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Edwards, Mrs. Luther Allison and Miss Virginia Hodgkins all of Warrenton and Mrs. John Casteen of Norfolk.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Episcopal Church, Warrenton, with barial in Warrenton Cemetery.
