Mrs. C. R. Hite made a talk on “What Happens ' to Plants When They Freeze.” A* period of general discussion followed the program.
Plans for the annual Christmas luncheon are being made by Mrs. J. P. Cook, chairman. The luncheon will be held at Cab Inn, Sperryville, on December 9th at 1 p.m. at $1.50 per plate. ‘ Members who have not already made reservations are requested to call Mrs. Cook 675-2584 by December 5th. Members are reminded to bring a gift for each guest, in addition to their own gift. Wrappings will be judged.
The Garden Club Christmas Greens Sale will be held Saturday, December 23rd from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, with Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. as chairman.
