Miss Kate Lewis Walker of Washington, Va. died at the Luray Nursing Home on July 17, 1974 after a long illness. She was born in Stevensburg, Culpeper County, on October 16, 1885.
A graveside funeral service was held at the Washington Masonic Cemetery on July 19 conducted by the Rev. Malcolm Maples, She was a member of the Flint Hill Methodist Church.
