Not surprisingly. die hard censervatim

are in pain. IVrhaps it is our turn. One trait that aches is our sense of fairness. Our ecemomy is stalled, and there is no successful restart in sight. Most of us are hurt* ins. many. a lot. Lenders are afraid to lend. They have aen consequences of huge and hugely irresponsible lending, facilitated by incomprehensible gimmicks.

The FVd made money too available far too long. Congress, several sessions ago, made laws, and the Clinton administration implemented rules, saying that the American dream must he* made available to a huge base, and diversity of that base trumped credit worthiness as a consideration.

The Obama camnaign has succeeded at laying the blame on George W. Bush, and, by extension, on Senator McCain, even though W was in Austin. TVxas. when the* law and rules were put in place.

A few years ago. Senator McCain and the Bush administration saw the bursting of the bubble on the* horixnn, and asked the* Congress to put some rules in place* far Freddie and Fiennie*. The Democrats in the* Senate refused to de*fuae* the* dream. Could it be partly because Fhnnie and Freddie* had been so generous to Dodd and Obama campaign coffers? Let us not be cynics, but let us also not be duped.

How I hope and pray that my Virginia will give her electoral college vote's to a war hero far commander-in -chief.
