The Sperryvitle Gateway Committee presented its public opinion survey at the ununuaAy short monthly meeting on Oct. 15, and in addition, secretary Barbara Williams presented a model of the heavy brunae plaques available to properties in the town's historic district. The committee will send the survey by early November and only to residents of the Piedmont District for a total of 1,000 copies, said Buck Payne, committee member. Names and addresses will come from the voter registration lists and property tax rolls. Chairman lorn Junk said that at 62 cents per letter he would hand deliver surveys to residents on Main Street.
