Ik ATetnbers of Uirl Scout XYJL Junior Tvoop HUS worked with Rappahannock County High School teacher and chef Mary Arthur to proviso Thanksgiving dinners last weak for Rappahannock's homebound senior citizens.
Under the guidance of Troop header Angela Wood and Chef Arthur the girls mapped out a plan to help brighten the holiday for people they did not know. Alter days of planning and nrep work they spent long hours in the kitchen preparing stuffing* mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes. tVesh green beans, cranberry sauce, pumpkins pies, gravy and of course, three turkeys seasoned with herb butter. In the end we loaded up the Thornhill familyV “Rig Rlue Hus'* and delivered the delicious holiday dinners to participating Rappahannock County senior citizens.
In doing this project our girls earned the Uirl Scout Rronse Aw uni. This is the highest award available for Uirls Scouts of this age group.
