Dr. Charles Baird To Direct One-Day Cancer C rusade Dr. Charles L Baird, of Hamp den-Sydney. will direct, a one night Cancer Crusade in Farm ville and Prince Edward county communities on Tuesday, April 30. Goal for the intensified effort has been set at $1,600 to provide funds for the local, stale and na tional cancer cure and prevention programs. Dr. Baird, who directs the x ray program at Southside Com munity Hospital, is expected to name division leaders for special gifts, a business area solicitation and in each of the county's six magisterial districts.
