Contributions Lagging
In Cancer Drive
Mrs. H. C. Warwick, chairman" of the county cancer drive wishes to remind the citizens that this is the last week of the drive for funds. She urges all who have not given to this worthy cause td please mail in their contributions as soon as possible.
Contributions have been lagging and the quota is not in sight at present. A whole hearted response is necessary to. meet the goal.
BIRTHDAY PARTY
Edna Yates Schaefer celebrated her seventh birthday on Sunday, April 23, with a small group of playmates invited from 3 to 5 p.m. Mrs. Schaefer directed the games in the yard and later served ice cream and cake to the guests. Those present were Judy Hawkins, Betty T. Bruce, Dolly Smith, and Linda Lou Dodson.
