Assembly Program At
Washington High School
The pupil.-? of the fourth abrade of the Washington High School presented a play, “Dr. Good Speech’’ at the assembly program held at the school auditorium on Thursday morning.
The cast included Elmer Foster as Dr. Goodspeech, and Mr. Speakwell was played by Rena Norman. Others taking part were Bobby Frazier, Russell Clatterbuck, Lew is Foster, Rannie Burke Janet Lillard, Mildred Foster, Russell Lee Nicholson, Mary Eubank, Corrine Burke, Eleanor Jenkins, Glen Updike, and Christine Keatt3.
The play was directed by Mrs. J. W. Price, the fourth grade teacher. The musical selections sung ‘during the program were “The Windmill,” “Rosa,” “Sing a little song when you are happy ” and “Coming Round the Mountain.”

Methodist Church Friday
Mrs. R. Maxwell Willis of Culpeper will give the second talk in her series of discussions on “Women of Scripture’’ by Arthur Bruce Moss, at the Washington Methodist church, Friday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m. The public is cordially invited to attend.
