A gentleman from Chevy Chase, with his wife and three children, came to rent “Ivy Cliffs,” the old Harris Place in Harris Hollow, from Mrs. Elizabeth Harris DeBergh. When he told her his name was ‘Edward Harris, the usual Virginia hunt for relatives began. Mrs. 'DeBergh had an uncle, Ben Harris, who moved to Illinois, and -Edward Harris proved to own an “Unde Ben," too. -They haven’t had time to find out if they are fdally kin or not, so for the present they are adopting each other aa cousins,.. . , .,v. ,

Mrs. P. W. Scudere was "notHlett Tuesday to rush to the bedside of her husbuand, p. W. Scudere, in St. Luke’s hospital, San Francisco, where he is iU with pneumonia.
Mrs. Senders, who has been spending some weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Updike, in Washington, left'by plane from Washington, D. C., on Tuesday night.
Mr. Scudere is. a salesman for Kaywoody 'Pipe Co., San Francisco headquarters.
Miss Ora Deatherage
Mias Ora Winona Deatherage, 85, died Thursday morning, May 29, at her home, “Horse Shoe Farm,” after a lingering illness of over six months.
Miss Deatherage, daughter of William A. Deatherage and Susan F. East ham of Rappahannock, was the last member of a family of nine children, and is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, many of whom were in, Washing ton for the funeral services.
Miss Addie Boyd, who has lived in the Deatherage home since, childhood and was accepted as a member of the family, had cared for the three sisters, Miss Lucy, Miss Neta, and Miss Ora.
Miss Ora was a member of the Presbyterian church in Front Royal,; and since her church is without a minister at the present time, funeral services were conducted by Dr. T. W. Hooper of Culpeper Presbyterian church, and Rev. N. J. Flythe of Washington Methodist church. Services were held Saturday afternoon, May 81, from the residence, with interment in the Deatherage family cemetery at “Horse Shoo Farm." *
