Ladies’ Auxiliary
The Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Rappahannock Fire Company will follow dheir regular custom in giving prizes for the three best Christmas decorations. The judges wfil be Mrs. A.M. Hickman, Mrs. F. P. Glass and Mrs. W. C. Hall. They will select the three best outside decorations in the town' of Washington and not the prettiest door decorations as in the past. Mrs. Hickman, Mrs. Glass and Mrs. Hall have decided to judge Friday night, December 26.

Service
Plan now to start the New Year right in—Christian worship and fellowship. Come to the Community ’ Watch Night Service at Flint Hill Methodist church, Wednesday, December 31 at 10:30 p.m. to 12:01 a.m. January 1, 1953. Besides worshop and Christian fellowship the highly recommended film, -“Rim o~f the Wheel” will be shown. The film has much drama and interest, and one will long remember how to “get off the rim of the wheel and get closer to the axle.” This is a treat, and an experience you will want to have. Everyone is cordially welcome.
