The mysery man of Rappahannock county is one Zephaniah Turner, who at one time was Speaker of the House in the Virginia Assembly.
Information concerning this gentleman is sought by a writer in Richmond who is attempting to compile a history in which Zephaniah Turner appears.
To date, this much has been' gathered: Zephaniah Turner lived at Woodville. It is supposed he died prior to 1878, for a county citizen owns a book, bearing a note on the fly-leaf, “brought at Zephaniah Turner’s sale, 1878.”
