Christinas To You”—These
four little words—spoken A million times by generation after generation over unhurried centuries—are as strong, as vivid, as friendly today as they were when first spoken. Use has not dulled the lustre of their cloaks. Bepetition has not lessened their brightness or cheerfulness. A hundred year from now they will ex-* press the same love, humility, rev* erence, gratitude as they do today,

What next! Last week we reported on the depredations at the —church ifi Old Hollow. This*week cur attention has been called to iMt. Salem Baptist church, where homeone has taken upon himself to pry loose and remove one of the large flat stone steps from the front of the edifice.
What manner of person could think that he had the right to go on someone else’s property and remove a part of a building? This church has stood for.over a hundred years and this is the first time that any report has been made of such a deed. The person reporting the removal of the step! ^ stated that they would pay a liberal reward for information lead|ing to the apprehension of the person or persons committing this crime. All information will be flept in Strictest confidence. § I regret that I can not give the :name of the person (and no reward is wanted) that thinks so little of other people’s property that they will go as a thief in the night and destroy property that has stood as a landmark for \oA - these many years.
