Coffey Jr., who recently entered military service, is now stationed at Camp Gordon, Ga.,i where he will take his basic training. f Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bennett of Culpeper were dinner guests on Sunday of Mrs. Carroll Menefee and family. , Miss Nettie Bontz of Gaithersburg, Maryland is expected this week to spend the Christmas holidays with Miss Ebba Hitt and her sisters. >
Mr. and Mrs. Edward W. Gore, Mrs. Helen Bruce and Mrs. J. Earl Wayland were shoppers in Winchester on Thursday.
Mrs. James M, Yates, Miss Ruth , Menefee and Mrs* Virginia M. Lewis were guests on Wednesday of their niece, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Hudson in Luray. Miss Menefee remained for an over night visit with Mr. and Mrs. Hudson.
Mrs. Maury Brown spent Friday in Front Royal with Mrs. Phyllis Brown Shirey and Mrs. M. W. Brown, Jr.
Herbert Leake is recuperating at his home after a two weeks hospitalization at University of Virginia hospital in Charlottesville.
Mrs. Katie W. Hudson, who spent ten days in Charlottesville with her relatives, has returned to the home' of Miss Louise O’Bannon.
