Orchard site demonstrations have been arranged by the VPI Extension Service and fertilizer and spray material dealers serving Rapahannock for Tuesday, Au-» gust 31.
These business concerns will award . prizes valued at, approximately $100 to be given fruit growers attending the demonstration based on individual scores made on the sites under consideration.
The first demonstration will be held at 1 o’clock Tuesday morn-, ing, August 31, at L. J. Kilby’s, farm located on Route 211 east of Sperryville, and the second is scheduled for 2 p.m., on Colonel Roy Reeve’s farm located on secondary Route 600, south of Sperryville.
